Thelma came to us with her best buddy Louise in the spring of 2026. They are both pony sized, sweet little mares. She arrived about 200 pounds underweight, skin and bones, but still a spark in her eyes so we started a careful feeding plan to get calories into her to see if she could recover. To date she is thriving and regaining weight and now trots alongside her buddy (when she arrived she was tripping over her feet and almost falling down she was so weak). We are hopeful that with proper nutrition and care she will rally.
